Account rules
- Moving Avios onward from BAUnder Avios's 2026 terms, a BA, Iberia or Aer Lingus account must be at least 30 days old before you can move Avios out, and Qatar makes new accounts wait 30 days before linking. After Avios arrive in BA, posters report holds of 7–14 days on moving them onward to Qatar, Iberia or Finnair (one exact 10 days, one lifted in under 12 hours). One poster lost a Qsuite saver seat waiting.
